ReadingScan

AI that reads your radiology report or scan photo and explains it in plain language, so you arrive at your appointment with better questions.

Introduction

Understand your imaging report before your appointment

ReadingScan is a patient-facing AI tool for people who have a radiology report in hand and no one to explain it yet. Give it the PDF report, or a photo of the scan, and a few minutes later you get a structured explanation written for a non-medical reader.

What you receive
  • A short summary of the key takeaways with an urgency level
  • Each finding translated into plain words, keeping the original term beside it
  • Suggested next steps in general terms
  • A ready list of questions for your doctor
  • A glossary built from the terms in your report
  • A chat where you can ask follow-up questions about your own report
Studies and languages covered

X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammogram and PET, with reports in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. It runs in the browser on phone or desktop, with nothing to install.

The model studies the image and writes down its own reading before it is allowed to label the study or extract details, rather than starting from a label and working backwards. The exam date is overwritten by the server instead of being taken from the model. If you upload something that is not medical imaging, such as a selfie or a blurry photo, it says so and stops.

Data and pricing

Encrypted in transit and at rest, deletable on request at any time, never sold. Pay per use with no subscription: in most countries your first report is free, and report passes start at $14.

What it is not

An explanation tool, not a replacement for your clinician and not for emergencies. Its job is to make the wait before your appointment less stressful and your questions sharper.
