BoogiePaw

AI dog dancing videos from your dog's photo: upload one shot, pick a dance, get a 9:16 clip in minutes. No prompts, no editing.

Introduction

BoogiePaw is an independent web app that creates AI dog dancing videos from a single photo. The product is deliberately narrow: one dog photo in, one short vertical dance clip out. You do not write free-text prompts, upload reference footage, or edit a timeline. You upload a photo, choose a dance template with a real preview, confirm the credit cost, and wait for the generate job to finish. The public site at boogiepaw.com has been live since 22 September 2026. BoogiePaw is run by the BoogiePaw Trust & Safety Team, which keeps the site running and answers support email at [email protected]; the About page says support requests get a reply within 3 business days.

What the product does

An AI dog dancing generator animates a still photo so the dog appears to dance. BoogiePaw uses your photo to guide the dog’s appearance and a dance template to guide movement and rhythm. Results vary with the photo and the model: facial details, markings, or proportions may change, and motion can include visual artifacts or imperfect timing. The site states this openly—“Inspired by your photo,” “AI-generated · results vary”—rather than promising a perfect replica of your pet.

Output is built for short-form platforms from the start. Template videos are 9:16 vertical, up to about 10 seconds, and ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. With free credits only, template videos are 480p and can be watched in the browser. After any credit pack purchase, template videos are 720p HD and downloads unlock. There is no visible watermark on either path. Duration, resolution, and cost are confirmed before you pay.

Nine curated templates are listed on the homepage, each with a preview clip that illustrates dance style (not a guarantee of your result). Templates include Single Ladies, Gangnam Style, Don’t Play With Me, YMCA, Ophelia, Last Call for Love, Hip Hop, K-Pop, and Breakdance, spanning decades and vibes from energetic grooves to sillier pet moves. Most owners start with Single Ladies. Every template card carries a breed-fit note so you can match longer-legged or flat-faced breeds before spending credits. You can preview each routine on the homepage or in Studio, then pick the one that fits your dog before you confirm.

How it works

Generation follows three steps. First, upload a photo. One clear, front-facing shot works best; file type, dimensions, and size are checked before generation, and those checks do not guarantee a good result. Second, pick a dance. You see real previews, fixed specs, and the exact credit cost before you confirm. Third, get your video. Queue status is shown in plain language—no fake progress bars. Most template videos finish in about 3–5 minutes after confirmation. Watch the result in your browser; download unlocks after any credit pack.

Photo guidance is specific. Photos that dance well tend to show a dog standing or sitting upright, front-facing or three-quarter, full body in frame with front legs clearly visible, in natural daylight or soft indoor light, with one dog per photo—crop before uploading if needed. Photos that struggle include dogs lying down or mid-jump, heavy crops, harsh shadows across the body, multiple dogs or people in the frame, and costumes or objects covering the body. Puppies can work when the photo still shows a clear upright body and visible front legs. Multiple dogs in one frame usually fail—crop to a single dog before upload. One photo in means one subject for the dancing video.

Custom dance is a separate path: 30 credits, 720p, no sound, up to 10 seconds. Template videos remain 20 credits. The cost is shown again before every generation. All dance templates are available with free credits; custom dance needs a pack because it costs 30 credits.
